Greetings Neighbors!

WELCOME TO THE GARDEN!

Everyone's Garden provides the opportunity for people of all abilities to share their gifts and talents and learn from each other.

Most community gardens are part of a growing trend for social justice with a mission centered on food security and food justice. Although the same social justice
principles should apply to people with disabilities, rarely is this segment of the population included as part of the community garden movement.

Our vision is an accessible and inclusive small-scale organic farm and education center that will be a model for other community gardens. Programs are centered on experiential learning of a diversity of skills and expertise in farming, community development, and health and education. Our ultimate goal is to become one the most comprehensive community garden programs of its kind.

A lead grant from the Michigan Disability Rights Coalition enabled us begin our journey, but community support is necessary to see our journey to completion. Donations are needed to help finish accessible pathways, install an accessible bathroom, build more raised beds, and purchase more ergonomic tools.

We look forward to meeting you and hope to welcome you to our project and vision!
